Basic Information about MBBS Course
- 01. Course Name: Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- 02. Basic Qualification & Prerequisites:
- SSC or equivalent with Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry)
- HSC or equivalent with Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry)
- Required grade point in SSC and HSC examinations As Per Govt. Instruction.
- 03. Selection Procedure: As per merit decided by the competent authority Bangladesh Govt.
- 04. Medium of Instruction: English
- 05. Duration: 5 years academic course followed by 1 year mandatory logbook-based rotatory internship
- 06. Course Structure: Subjects with defined duration and professional examinations
Special Note:
After taking admission into the first year of MBBS course, a student must complete the whole MBBS course (pass the final professional MBBS examination) within 12 years timeline.
